01What is Teyo Player?
Teyo Player is a media player application. It plays media from a playlist that you supply. It is a player only: the software itself contains no media. The supported platforms section on this page lists every device with a published build.
02Does Teyo Player include channels or subscriptions?
No. Teyo Player does not provide, sell or bundle channels, playlists, subscriptions or media of any kind. You must bring your own legally authorised playlist URL or provider credentials.
03Where can I download the application?
From the download page on this site. Only published builds are listed, each with its version, release date, file size and a SHA-256 checksum so you can verify the file after downloading.
04How do I find my MAC address and Device Key?
Both are displayed inside Teyo Player on the activation screen. The Device Key is six digits. On Android, Teyo Player generates a stable virtual address rather than reading your hardware MAC.
05How do I activate my device?
Open the activation page on this site, enter the MAC address from the app, then complete the payment. Activation is applied automatically once the payment is confirmed.
06Which devices are supported?
The supported platforms section on this page lists every platform with a published build. Platforms without a build are not listed as available.
07What payment methods are accepted?
Payments are handled by PayPal. You can pay with a PayPal account, and debit or credit cards are also accepted when PayPal has enabled direct card payments for this merchant account. The activation page shows exactly which options are available to you.
08My payment succeeded but the device is not active yet. What now?
Wait a few moments and reopen the app. Activation is confirmed by PayPal directly to our server, so it completes even if you close the browser during payment. If the device is still inactive after a few minutes, contact support with your payment reference.
09How do I update the application?
Download the current build from the download page and install it over your existing copy. Your activation and playlists are kept.
10How can I contact support?
Use the support section on this page. The channels listed there are the ones we actually monitor.
11Does Teyo Player support Live TV, movies and series?
Yes. The player separates Live TV, movies and series into dedicated areas when those entries exist in your authorised playlist.
12Is an EPG programme guide available?
Yes, when your playlist provider includes compatible EPG data. Teyo Player can show the current and next programme, but it cannot create guide data that the provider does not supply.
13How many playlists can I connect?
You can connect up to ten authorised playlists to one device, choose a default playlist and switch between them inside Teyo Player.
14Where do I manage my playlists?
Open My List in any browser, enter the Virtual MAC and Device Key displayed by Teyo Player, then add, replace, rename or remove your playlists.
15Where are streams and playlist links stored?
Playlist links are encrypted before they are stored by the Teyo service. Video streams travel directly from your own provider to your device; Teyo Player does not host or relay the media.
16What happens when the seven-day trial ends?
The player asks you to activate that device. Your playlists remain connected, and access returns after the one-time activation is confirmed.
