Teyo Player on Android TV: installation and playlist setup
Install Teyo Player on Android TV, add an authorised playlist through My List, replace a link and troubleshoot common setup problems.
Before you start
Teyo Player is an IPTV media player developed by NEXOLUME LLC for your own authorised playlists. It does not supply TV channels or copyrighted content. You need a compatible Android TV device, an internet connection and a playlist you have permission to use. On an Android TV television or box, check that you can open Google Play before installing. A television brand name alone does not identify its operating system.
1. Install from the official listing
Open the download page linked below and follow its Google Play link. On the store listing, confirm the app is Teyo Player and that it can be installed on your selected television or box. If the store says it is incompatible, do not assume another device model will behave the same way. The download page also lists currently published builds.
2. Open the player and identify your device
Launch Teyo Player. Note the Virtual MAC and Device Key shown by the app. These identify the device when managing playlists on the website. Keep the key private, and check the MAC carefully if you have more than one television.
3. Add your authorised playlist
On your phone or computer, open My List from the link below. Enter the Virtual MAC and Device Key shown on your television. Add a descriptive playlist name and the complete playlist URL supplied by your authorised provider, then save. Keep any credentials in that URL private. Return to the player and reload the playlist or reopen the app if the new list is not yet visible.
4. Replace an expired or changed link
Open My List again with the same device details. Select the existing playlist’s edit controls and replace its old URL with the new authorised URL. Save the change and reload the player. Editing the intended entry avoids accidentally keeping two copies of the same playlist.
If playback or installation fails
If the app is absent from the store, first confirm the selected device and store region. If a playlist fails, check for missing URL characters and ask its provider whether access is still valid. If only some streams fail, their availability or format may be the cause. Test your internet connection and check your device’s trial or activation status. Contact support without posting your full playlist URL or Device Key publicly.
Player activation is separate from content
Use the activation page for current plans and conditions. Activating Teyo Player does not purchase television channels or renew a third-party content subscription. For Windows or another supported device, choose its own download instead of assuming a TV package is interchangeable.
Frequently asked questions
Does Teyo Player include channels on Android TV?
No. It is a media player for your own authorised playlists, not a channel or content provider.
Can I manage the playlist from my phone?
Yes. Open My List in a browser and authenticate with the Virtual MAC and Device Key displayed by the app.
What if Google Play says my device is incompatible?
Check the official download page and store listing for supported builds. Do not assume that every television or Android-based device is compatible.
